We only access or collect information that you voluntarily provide by telephone, e‑mail, form, when you send us unsolicited applications, register on university job platforms, via references from employees or former employees, chat, when you enter into a contract with us (employment, provision of services or other), complete your customer form, or communicate with our customer‑support team or by any other direct contact.
We may use automated platforms to send newsletters, such as MailChimp, which guarantees compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation by allowing data to be deleted, accessed and edited simply and transparently.

We only request information that is relevant to us, such as your name, age, contact details, education, employment history, emergency contact, immigration status, financial information (where financial background checks are required) and social‑security number (and, of course, you may choose to share other relevant information with us). Clients

If you are a BySix client, we need to collect and use information about you or one or more people in your company so that we can provide our services, deliver a comprehensive service and ensure our contractual relationship runs smoothly. In this context, we may request certain personal data such as the name, e‑mail address, position and contact number of employees who are relevant to the provision of services.

Suppliers

If you are a supplier, we need a small amount of personal information to make sure everything works properly. We need contact details for certain people in your company so that we can communicate with you, as well as other information such as your bank details so that we can pay you for the services you supply (where this forms part of the contractual provisions between us). We may also hold information that someone in your company has chosen to share with us.

We will use your information to respond to the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with third parties outside our organisation except where necessary to fulfil your request. Unless you instruct otherwise, we may contact you by e‑mail in the future to inform you about special offers, new products or services, or changes to this Privacy Policy.

Whenever we collect your personal data for the purposes described above, or for any other purpose, we will inform you in advance or at the time of collection and will seek your consent whenever this is necessary to legitimise the processing of your data. Where you have given your consent to processing activities, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

However, there are cases where your consent is not the legal basis for processing your personal data, but one of the following grounds:

  • processing is necessary for entering into a contract with you or for its performance;

  • processing is necessary for compliance with the legal obligations to which BySix is subject;

  • processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by BySix that do not override your interests, rights and fundamental freedoms requiring the protection of personal data – this legal basis will be used only where there is no less intrusive way to process your data. If legitimate interest is used as the ground for processing, we will keep a record of that activity and you may request this information;

  • processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
